Angled Visible-NIR Reflection/Backscatter Probes

An angled reflection probe works well for reflection and backscattering measurements of powders and dense solutions. It has the same 6-around-1 fiber bundle configuration as our standard reflection probes, but with a 30° angled window at a small distance from the fiber bundle tip. This serves to reduce specular reflection effects when the probe is immersed in powders or dense solutions, and allows the probe to maintain direct contact with those samples for consistent measurements.
