The Reflection/Backscattering Probes for Expanded Wavelength Coverage have 14 fibers, six UV-VIS and six VIS-NIR illumination fibers, plus one UV-VIS and one VIS-NIR read fiber. It couples easily to a dual- channel spectrometer in which each channel is set for a different wavelength range.

• General Purpose: Ideal for solid diffuse or specular reflection, fluorescence and color
• “Hybrid” fibers: The probe assembly includes six UV-Vis (300-1100 nm) and six Vis-NIR (400-2100 nm) fibers for illumination, and one UV-Vis and one Vis-NIR readout fiber
• Probe design: 12+2 fiber bundle design, two 6-fiber branches connected to the light source, two single-fiber branches connected to the spectrometer
