The cold flow properties (CFP) are those exhibited by a fuel at temperatures below ambient and are characterised by three main indices; cloud point (CP), cold filter plugging point (CFPP) and pour point (PP). The freezing point on the other hand is the temperature at which a liquid transitions into a solid state.
