Instrumented Friction Tester
Linear friction test of rubber to exchangeable frictional partners within a temperature-controlled chamber. The dynamic friction tester is controlled from PC via Coesfeld WIN Friction software. The machine consists of a highly dynamic linear electro drive, which horizontally moves a t nut base plate, which holds the friction surface. A measuring head with three-component force sensor for normal, friction and lateral forces holds the specimen and is statically loaded via weight set with auto lifting function.
