Cutting Mill Combination Pulverisette 19 LARGE/Pulverisette 19
With the extra powerful, patented FRITSCH Cutting Mill Combination of the Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 large with variable rotational speed of 50-700 rpm and the Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 with a variable rotational speed of 300-300 rpm, as well as the associated FRITSCH high-performance Cyclone separator, it is possible, for example, to process 2 litres of sample material with a particle size of 30 mm in only one single step.
It doesn‘t matter how heterogeneous the sample is – even household waste, construction waste, German recycling system bales or light shredder fractions from automobile recycling: Within five minutes, our extra-powerful double mill will reduce any of these materials into a representatively divided analysis sample with a final fineness of < 500 μm! This is the ideal solution for inexpensive preparation of heterogeneous materials for analysis according to the Technical Instructions on Municipal Waste (TOC) or for determination of the calorific value and chlorine content.
The extra powerful FRITSCH Cutting Mill Combination consists of the Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 large with variable rotational speed of 50-700 rpm and the Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 with a variable rotational speed of 300-3000 rpm. The entire sample is pre-crushed by the PULVERISETTE 19 large then falls automatically through a funnel into a sample divider which divides the sample according to a 1:13 ratio by default. The division ratio is variable.
This smaller sample is then automatically comminuted in the PULVERISETTE 19 down to a final fineness of 0.2 mm and drawn into the collecting vessel by the connected FRITSCH high-performance Cyclone separator.
Through selection of the cutting tool sets and sieve cassettes, the FRITSCH Cutting Mill Combination can be individually adapted to any specific application. All accessories of the PULVERISETTE 19 large and PULVERISETTE 19 are available for this.

The PULVERISETTE 19 with voltage of “/3~”can only be operated on a three-phase supply network.
Despite the frequency converter, the three-phase version “/3~” is definitely preferable instead of a single-phase version “/1~”, because the three-phase version achieves a higher torque mass and pulling power.
The single-phase versions of the Universal Cutting Mills PULVERISETTE 19 also have an especially maintenance-free three-phase motor with a frequency converter.

FUNNELS
The PULVERISETTE 19 can either be used with a funnel for long and bulk solids made of plastic or stainless steel 316L for feeding materials at their full length or a protected funnel made of stainless steel with a plastic sample pusher for all other materials./The PULVERISETTE 19 large can be used with a protected funnel with made of stainless steel with plastic sample pusher for common materials.
CUTTING TOOL SETS
The PULVERISETTE 19 can either be equipped with a Rotor with V-cutting edges and fixed knives or rotor with straight cutting edges and fixed knives, or rotor with notched edges and fixed knives or disk milling cutter rotor with indexable inserts and fixed knives.
By selecting the material of the cutting tool sets and sieve cassettes, the abrasion properties can also be individually accommodated. Details about cutting rotors and materials are found in the element analysis./The PULVERISETTE 19 large can either be equipped with a rotor with V-cutting edges and fixed knives, rotor with notched edges and fixed knives or a rotor with straight cutting edges and fixed knives or with a disk milling cutting rotor with fixed knives. SIEVE CASSETTES MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL 316L
Sieve cassettes determine the fineness of a sample. They guarantee a constant distance between the rotor and the sample material and ensure a reliable result. Sieve cassettes with trapezoidal and square perforations are offered. Sieve cassettes with trapezoidal perforations improve size reduction through extra shearing action. Sieve cassettes with square perforations are used for the grinding of brittle materials and materials of medium fineness with a narrow grain band.
Sieve cassettes are also available in further perforations.
ACCESSORIES FOR CHROMIUM-FREE COMMINUTION
When chromium-free size reduction is required for sample preparation according to RoHS – for example for verification of hexavalent chromium – or for XRF analysis. FRITSCH cutting tool sets of chromium-free tool steel and sieve cassettes made of chromium-free steel DC01 offer absolute assurance.
